Chemin du Gypaète (Vulture path)

For this mountain hike on the Chemin du Gypaète, you will start by taking the Pas de Maimbré cable car. Holders of the Pass Anzère Liberté will benefit from a 50% discount on the transport rates.

With a bit of luck and patience, you will be able to admire the bearded vulture and its flight following the thermals, but don't forget to watch where you are going! You will continue your escapade in the direction of the old Donin mountain pasture, the descent into the Sionne valley with the Pas de Maimbré on your left and the impressive slopes of Sex Noir, Crêta Besse and Pra Roua on your right until the Comba mountain pasture. From here, you can familiarise yourself with the magnificent mayens of Deylon, Vermenala and du Gô, vestiges of the past. The hike ends at the cable car car park. 

At the end of the walk, you can enjoy the terrace of the Brasserie du Dahu at the start of the cable car.

Picnic and drinks recommended (no restaurant once the hike has begun, however the Restaurant du Pas de Maimbré is available before you start your hike).
