The Anzère resort is very young.
A short history of the Anzère resort
In fact before the 1960s, there were only five small chalets. However, largely thanks to its great location and sunshine, Anzère has grown rapidly with the construction of chalets, holiday flats, hotels, ski lifts and other tourist facilities.
This is how the resort of Anzère was born, a modern holiday village, but on a human scale. In the vicinity, there are still many mayens, rudimentary alpine dwellings made of stones or wood that has turned brown under the Alpine sun.
