Speed down blue, red, and black slopes facing the Alpine giants

The Anzère ski area offers 58 kilometers of alpine ski slopes for all levels (highest point: 2420 m):

  • Two beginner zones (see below)
  • 12 blue slopes for novice skiers and snowboarders;
  • 37 red slopes for advanced skiers and snowboarders;
  • 9 black slopes for expert skiers and snowboarders;
  • 3 marked and secured but ungroomed routes for a first off-piste experience.

In front of you? A breathtaking panorama of the Rhône Valley and some legendary Alpine giants: the Bietschhorn (nicknamed "the king of Valais," at 3934 m), the Weisshorn (4505 m), and Mont Blanc (4808 m)… To spot them, take a detour to the orientation table at Pas de Maimbré!

Start skiing at low prices in secure areas

In Anzère, children and beginner adults learn to ski on the free slope in the Village; then at 2300 m altitude in the secure "La Cuvette" area (guaranteed snow all winter). Snow garden, blue slope, magic carpet, and small ski lift... Everything you need to improve under the best and safest conditions!

Book a private or group ski lesson (children from 2 years old, teens, adults).

Check the special price list for "La Cuvette" (rates for children 6-15 years, youth 16-25 years, and adults/seniors; free for children up to and including 5 years old).

Spur-of-the-moment skiing? It’s possible!

The best time to have the ski area all to yourself? Monday to Thursday, outside school holidays. Take a day off and treat yourself to a few hours of skiing on Anzère's slopes without waiting for the big holidays!

  • Reach Anzère in 20 minutes from Sion
  • Free parking (blue zone) & metered parking (cashless)
  • Day and half-day ski passes
  • Access to the ski area included in your Magic Pass

Dining on the slopes, in 5 minutes or 1 hour

The Anzère ski area has picnic tables for a quick meal in the sun, overlooking the majestic panorama of the Rhône Valley. There are even barbecue areas to get a head start on the grilling season. Check the piste map to find them.

Prefer a hot meal to recharge? Sit down at the restaurant or self-service area at Pas de Maimbré. The menu includes cold cuts, cheese and rye bread, Valais-style rösti, half-and-half fondue, beef tartare, soup of the day, homemade cheesecake, gourmet coffee, and more. Family-friendly: the Pas de Maimbré restaurant also offers a kids’ menu (nuggets, burgers, spaghetti…) and some dishes in half portions.

Not in a rush? Take your time at one of the restaurants in the Village Square, at the foot of the Anzère slopes. The Pas de Maimbré gondola is just a few minutes’ walk away—perfect if you have the energy for more skiing after your hearty meal!

Après-ski: the best spots for an evening drink

A great day of skiing always ends with a festive après-ski!

Dance to a DJ set in the tipi at Why Not, at the foot of the Masques slope. Make your way to the bar counter at Zaza Bar during concert nights and explore their wide selection of world beers. Travel to the tropics without leaving Valais in the Hawaiian-themed Tiki Bar. Treat yourself to a very "fancy" cocktail at the Peter Lounge Bar. Sing your heart out during karaoke nights at Anja and Hubi's. Show off your dart-throwing skills at La Grange. In short: celebrate your ski vacation as it should be!

New for 2025-2028: the Grillesses – Bâté gondola lift

Winter 1960-1961: Alpine skiing enthusiasts made their very first turns on what was then a mini ski area in Anzère, thanks to the first ski lift, the Moret lift.

Since then, the ski area has grown significantly! Decade after decade, the first chairlift, the first gondola, and the first conveyor arrived. Today, the ski area boasts 12 lifts.

From 2025 to 2028, the modernization of the Anzère ski area continues!

December 2025: opening of the new 10-person gondola Grillesses – Bâté (fans of the famous red slope Les Rousses will love this new option).

December 2028: opening of a new line connecting the village to Grillesses (it will then be possible to reach the highest point of the ski area directly, without a detour via Pas de Maimbré).
