The route crosses the Mayens d'Arbaz and Anzère region through the wild Vallon de la Sionne and the Serin mountain pasture.
The Trail du Sé Rouge starts from the Étang-Long car park in Arbaz. The itinerary goes through the combe of Arbaz and continues on the same route as the Trail des Audannes, i.e. via the Col de la Selle, passing by the summit of the Sé Rouge and descending towards the Cabane des Audannes to the Serin mountain pasture, returning via the Grillesses and then back to the starting point at the Étang-Long in Arbaz via the Grand Bisse of Ayent.
