Nicky "AKON" Midgley was born in Montreux. He started out in graffiti at the end of the 90's. He trained as a graphic designer and then turned to tattooing for just over 10 years. Finally, he returned to graffiti and street art in a more serious way around 2017, and has been doing so ever since, among other things as part of the Chromatix association. Nicki also dabbles in other techniques such as airbrushing and sculpture.
