Tour des Alpages
At the gondola car park, a 3km climb with a difference in altitude of 400 metres takes you to La Brune through the forest. After this climb, the next 7 kilometres of the path take you across the region’s pasturelands. For those who are less athletic, it is also possible to take the gondola and start the hike at the intermediate station.
You arrive firstly at the Tsalan pastureland. There, Rosemarie and her team welcome you for refreshments during the summer. You can also buy cheese made there. Really delicious! Then continue along the path that will take you to Le Duez pastureland. Then a very easy, flat section takes you to Serin pastureland. There you really must taste the famous sérac cheese. A visit to the cheese dairy is also possible upon request. Follow the signposts to Les Rousses. You will then descend to Anzère by Sion Bisse. Follow the footpath signposts to Les Grillesses then on to the resort. This hike offers magnificent, varying scenery all along the way. This is an easy walk suitable for everyone but is 17 kilometres long. For a shorter itinerary, take the dry bisse at the Serin cheese dairy. Allow roughly 4 hours 30 minutes.
