For this mountain hike on the Gypaète Tour, you set off by taking the cable car from the Pas de Maimbré. With a bit of luck and patience, you may get the chance to see a vulture soaring on the thermals. You then continue your adventure by heading towards the old alpine pasture of Donin. Along your descent into the Sionne valley you will see the Pas de Maimbré on your left and the impressive slopes of the Sex Noir, Crêta Besse and Pra Roua on your right, before reaching the alpine pasture of La Comba. From here you can enjoy the wonderful mayens of Deylon, Vermenala and Le Gô - vestiges of Valais's past. The hike finishes at the cable car station’s car park.
Picnic and drinks recommended (no restaurant).
