This restaurant is located at an altitude of 1951 metres, and has a superb terrace with a breathtaking view of the Upper Valais and the peaks of the Alps.
The restaurant welcomes you with a dynamic new team, led by Claude Aymon since winter 2023/24.
In winter, you can enjoy fast, tasty food, with a cheese bar serving fondue and cheese croûte, as well as great daily menus for your skiing or snowshoeing days.
In summer, the focus is on welcoming families, where your little ones can enjoy the games in the vicinity of the restaurant, in complete safety and easily accessible from the Route des Grillesses or by taking the cable car via its intermediary. On the food side: there's something for everyone, with a table service concept featuring typical local "forgotten" dishes. The Buvette "Le Bar à Fromage" is open in summer and serves raclette with cheese crust, fondue, Valaisan dishes and sandwiches.

In winter or in summer, our south-facing terrace offers perfect sunshine, so you can sunbathe and enjoy the view while tasting our dishes. Don't forget your sun cream!
Le Tsalan also has dormitories (1 for 8 people, 1 for 12 people and 2 for 5 people). Half-board is available for those who want to spend one or more nights away from it all, in the mountains!
