Discover Ricola's Glacier Mint and the Morard family business in Grimisuat.
Frédéric Morard, who took over his father Armand's farm, used to help his parents in the fields as a child. Before partnering with Ricola, the Morard family mainly grew potatoes and strawberries, like many farmers in Valais. Despite mechanization, 70% of plant cultivation is still done by hand. The Morards invest about 1500 hours of labor per hectare each year. Once harvested from the fields of the Valais Alps, the "glacier mint" then goes around the world with Ricola. Discover the secrets of aromatic plants with the Morard and Ricola family on a tour of the farm. Information and bookings on our website
