Discover the Mayens du Gô and the wild valley of the Sionne
The walk begins at the car park of the Anzère cable car. Following the Sentier du Gô, you will first cross the charming mayens du Gô and their pastures. Then you will arrive above the bunker of the avalanche study centre. From there, you leave the Sionne valley and follow the Bisse de Bitaillaz in the direction of the Étang-Long des Mayens d'Arbaz, where you can enjoy a meal on the terrace of the Restaurant du Lac Le Pascali's during the summer months. Afterwards, the Bisse de Sion will take you to Anzère.
For those wishing to take public transport, there are buses from Les Mayens d'Arbaz to Anzère, but check the timetable beforehand, as they are not very regular. Information and timetables online here. For holders of the Anzère Liberté pass, take advantage of free public transport (between Grimisuat Coop and Anzère).
