Solar-powered electric biker charging station
Anzère Tourism and the company Public-Places.ch have installed and inaugurated a solar powered charging station at the Tseuzier dam, next to the dam restaurant.
The charging station offers 3 x 230 Volt charging sockets for e-bikes as well as 2 x USB sockets for charging mobile phones, tablets and other devices. A total of 11 one-hour recharges can be made over the course of the day. With sales of e-bikes having exceeded those of standard bicycles for the first time, Anzère is bringing itself up to date with this terminal which runs on green energy. The mast on a pivot means that it can be manually rotated through 360°, so that it can be repositioned once or twice during the day to better absorb the sun rays.
