Walk along the Bisse de Sion and the Bisse d'Ayent on an 8km loop suitable for everyone

Would you like to walk the Bisse de Sion and the Bisse d'Ayent without having to walk the entire 24km route? Then we have the solution for you: the route of the two bisses which starts at the car park of the Télé Anzère cable car.

You will first take the bisse de Sion, passing by the torrent de la Forniry and continuing to join the Grand bisse d'Ayent. The route continues as far as the remains of the "Torrent Croix" and returns under the resort via "Le Pertou" area near the tennis courts at the entrance to the resort. All you have to do is cross the village to get back to your car at the Télécabine car park.

Tip: you can also park in the free Parking du Bisse at the entrance to Anzère and walk to the starting point of the itinerary.

At the end of your hike, go to Botyre to discover the history of the bisses at the Musée Valaisan des Bisses. This is located inside the painted house, a historic building dating from the 17th century, where you will find 270m2 of exhibition space that will help you appreciate the decisive role of the Bisses in the development of the Valais region.
