166 km of footpaths cover the region, winding through forests, open space, wine yards, pastures and high altitude.
Hikers will discover a unique natural site and the high quality of the trails. The bisses (artificial small water canals), built in the 15th century, run along most footpaths. Two of these bisses lead to the Zeuzier dam takes 2h30 of walking. The high mountain trails also lead to the Wildhorn Glacier and the Col du Rawyl Mountain Pass at 3’247m. A 1/25’000th topographic map of the region is available on sale at the Tourist Office. Detailed descriptions of sites and points of interest are edited in English, French and German.

Anzere is in a peaceful location with superb south facing views over the Rhone valley. There is quick and easy access to the local shops, bars, restaurants and the cable car. Anzere is an excellent base for summer alpine walking and having the cable car means that fabulous high level walks are just minutes away. Footpaths to lower level walks through the beautiful vineyards can be reached from the village. As well as being a good base for exploring the Valais region (e.g. Lake Geneva, Rhone Valley, Zermatt, etc), there are enough activities locally if you don't want to travel far.

Eine gute Idee!
Als sportlicher und etwas trainierter Mensch, lässt sich auch die Tour von Anzère -> Cabane des Audannes und zurück nach Anzère, gut an einem Tag realisieren.
Sehr schöne Strecke via Les Rousses!
